Online Freelance Outsourcing
Online Projects / Job sites appear to be growing in demand with small businesses looking to get help on specific short term projects from freelance consultants / experts globally, on internet marketing and social media and other business service needs.
I recently completed my internet marketing contribution on an interesting project, found through Elance.com which is a global website connecting “Freelance Projects / Jobs with OnLine Freelance consultants”.
The freelance project connected me to ignitePT.ca and its Founder Andrew Koopejan who is based in a PT practice in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
ignitePT.ca is a fresh innovative business / social idea developed by Andrew, “connecting physiotherapist professionals in Canada through a community portal”.
Andrew’s vision for ignitePT.ca is to connect the 20,000 practicing PTs in Canada, by sharing their experiences and advice / comments on their profession. The PT community website will provide quality content, insights and articles, and will be promoted through interactive Social Media presence on Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter…..check out the neat design / layout and more information on the new ignitePT.ca Blog
Small Business – Outsourcing Projects
This was my first project with Elance, and hopefully the site (and its competitors e.g. Guru.com) will provide me fresh and new project challenges going forward, its something I have been planning for 4 years to be working in a virtual role, from anywhere.
The growth in quality online freelance project sites is also a useful “low cost” resource for small businesses worldwide so an interesting development as a “win win” virtual business service.
Elance is based on a project bidding format and provide small business “buyers” with details on freelance bidders verification / skills, and a weekly pay process.
I am interested to learn from other peoples online freelance experiences, so leave your advice / comments below or contact me direct
